Cyber first friday not there
Today has been a crazy day. Last night I was woken up at 4 in the morning about a family emergency and have been up since then. I had to start my homework late due to getting home around noon. Glad I can sit and sketch to end my night of such a crazy, crazy, crazy day. Hope tomorrow/ this weekend will be peaceful for me and others.

Cyber day 2
Im extremely tired and had a very long day. I can’t wait to SLEEP! I did take some time to take pictures and put together a nice stylish outfit to post on Instagram though. I also want to really get into the chalk board assignment I was given to because it could really be aesthetically pleasing once it is finished!!

Artist statement (Block Print)
Artist statement
During this assignment, I was trying to learn how to use patience to cut the print. I accomplished this method by taking it in small sections. For instance, only taking it one step at a time. My painting is about the harshness being beautiful. Making my figure hot pink and mimicking the sunset. (Also uses dramatic shadows). The thing that surprised me most is the fact that even the smallest detail can make a difference and vice versa. The most difficult part was making sure there was enough ink on the block print. I just made sure to press and take my time and not rush. My artwork really works in the aspect of color pop. Something I learned is that using opposite colors can be very intriguing to the eye. Grace patzer, she made her very detailed and it really shows that patience is one thing that can only improve your artwork. I would like to take more time if I didn’t rush.
